Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, reported that his country was unaware of the negotiations that Marco Rubio, the United States Secretary of State, had with Russia’s Foreign Minister, Serguéi Lavrov, to arrange a meeting in Saudi Arabia aimed at ending the war. Therefore, he denounced any negotiations about Ukraine in which Ukraine is not included.

“Ukraine considers any negotiation about Ukraine without Ukraine as those that have no outcome, and we cannot recognize ... Any agreement about us without us," Zelenskyy expressed this Monday, according to The Guardian.

The Guardian reports that the United States delegation will consist of Marco Rubio, who arrived in Saudi Arabia this Monday; Mike Waltz, national security advisor to the White House; and Steve Witkoff, Trump’s envoy in the Middle East, as peace in this region is also sought.
