The eldest daughter of the newly elected president Donald Trump stated that she will even stay away from Washington DC.

“I love policies and impact. I hate politics. And, unfortunately, those two things cannot be separated,” said 43-year-old Ivanka, adding that it is a “very dark and negative business.” “There is a darkness in that world that I really don’t want to welcome into mine.”
“To some extent, I am in the eye of the storm because my father is about to become president, but it is a very dark and negative business. And some people love the gladiator aspect, the fight. I was never like that.”
Father and daughter forever
Ivanka said she would “appear” when her father takes office, but nothing more: “I think what I most look forward to is being there for him as a daughter and being able to distract him, watch a movie with him, or watch a sports game.”
“Knowing that he can be with me, be himself and relax, and being able to provide that for him in a very loving way, like his daughter.”
“It is the loneliest position in the world: the enormity of the decisions you make daily, how transactional everyone is with you,” she added. Despite the negative experiences she had as an advisor to her father, “she loved the impact” of her role in the White House.
The mother of three children made the decision to stay away from politics for her family: “The main reason I am not returning to serve now is that I know the cost, and it is a price I am not willing to make my children pay,” she said.
