During his appearance, the athlete openly talked about being a father and how complicated it can be, "we have all made many mistakes. I don't want to seem like an expert in parenting, because I'm not," he added, acknowledging that his approach to raising his children Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian has not always been ideal.

In his own words, his main goal as a father is to be "reliable and consistent" for them, a constant presence in their lives. The former player highlighted how his own parents supported him in his decisions, remembering that they never suggested he take a different path when he aspired to be a backup quarterback in his early days.

"They told me, 'You know what? Do it'," Brady shared, admitting that this lesson influences his own parenting style. Currently, his children are at different stages of development and have diverse interests, which could make everything more challenging.

Family is Tom Brady's number 1 priority

Jack, his eldest son, has chosen basketball instead of following in his father's footsteps in American football. Brady, far from pressuring him, supports him in his aspirations, constantly reminding him that he can count on him. "I told him, 'Buddy, you're going to be a machine. Just wait until you hit your growth spurt, you're going to jump higher, you're going to dunk.'"

The veteran quarterback also shared that being "Tom Brady's son" brings unique challenges for his children, who may feel the pressure of having such a renowned father. Nevertheless, Brady assures that he will be by their side, providing them with the support they need and learning alongside them.
